Isaac Walls was born in Arkansas and grew up on military bases around the US. He lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri. He began studying and then writing haiku recently. His interest sparked when for health reasons he began taking long hikes and noticing the world around him. His other interests include family, literature, his yellow lab and the guitar.
