biography

Marie Luci Louve Mathieu was born in 1971 and lives in the Saguenay region, Quebec, Canada. Her amerindian origin gives her a specific view of the world, very close to the haiku spirit. She mainly writes short texts, in a very "physical", very powerful style, with a structure close to the oral tradition. Her main characteristics are an instinctive integration of Nature in her writing and a technique in which scattered elements compose a global image in the reader's mind after the reading. She came to haiku in 2000.

She publishes haiku and texts on her website Louve, monatgnaise... and among many other websites and forums of the internet. These include Haiku sans frontières by A. Duhaime and Chevaucher la lune (anthologie du haïku contemporain en français), edited by David.
