Nan Dozier is a writer, teacher, and musician. She holds a Literary Artist Residency with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, and takes folksong, dance, haiku, tall tales, ballads and laughter into classrooms in Northwest Louisiana. Last spring she was named to the State Artist Roster of the Louisiana Division of the Arts. An Instrument of Ten Strings: Poems by Nan Dozier, a collection of lyric poetry, some formal, some free; also Airplane Snacks: Haiku by Nan Dozier, a miniature chapbook of haiku with a casual crunch. Previous credits include: Frogpond, Lynx, Best of the Electronic Poetry Network (Shreve Memorial Library), Roswell Literary Review, Raintown Poetry Review, Sunday At Four, Louisiana English Journal, Spectra 98 and Folio .
