Nature lover, computerphile, student of philosophy, literature and art, and picky about some things, Patrick Gallagher has enjoyed the haiku life almost a decade. Patrick regards himself as fortunate in the haiku world for living on the west coast where the Japanese traditions of literature and art are readily available. He is also fortunate for being married to the haiku poet Claire Gallagher. Patrick is active in the Haiku Poets of Northern California and the Yuki Teikei Haiku Society; he publishes haiku mostly in Mariposa and Geppo, the journals of these societies, and also in Raw Nervz. His work on haiku publications in typography, and book and web design has provided him much satisfaction. article: "Tell About the Truth As If It Were False" - previously unpublished version
