@haijinx, the haijinx weekly wire reborn on Twitter!

The haijinx weekly wire, an email-based haikai news and announcement service, was originally created by haijinx in 2001. The service, renamed the haijinx wire, ran into 2003.

The service restarted in 2010, now based on the @haijinx twitter account. Haikai-related items are posted to twitter, archived here on haijinx.org as a single post, and then that goes out daily as part of the haijinx.org RSS feed.

In addition to those newfangled methods, haijinx compiles that RSS feed once a week, typically on Friday or Saturday, and sends it out via the original haijinx wire distribution-only list on YahooGroups. The YahooGroups list maintains an archive of past posts as well.

If you have announcements for the haijinx wire, please contact haijinx here or via DM on Twitter. We happily post haikai-related announcements from publications to contests, from book releases to seminars, from blogs to international organizations.
